Has Contouring Gone Too Far?
Over the last couple of years contouring has become a regular part of many women’s makeup routine. But has it gone too far? Celebrities use contouring to change the shape of their face, make certain features stand out, or make them look less flat under the bright lights. But for your daily life it is probably too much. In the bright lights of the day, under fluorescent lights at the office or at school, your face can look a little intense. Your pores need to breathe and people usually look more youthful without heavy make-up. Save contouring for a night out on the town or a special occasion. To create definition, use a little bit of bronzer under your cheekbones and under your jaw and a little highlighter on your browbone. Less can be more.
